![]() ![]() If Pac-Man is caught by a ghost, he loses a life the game ends when all lives are lost. In between levels are short cutscenes featuring Pac-Man and Blinky in humorous, comical situations. Levels are indicated by fruit icons at the bottom of the screen. When Pac-Man eats all of the dots, the player advances to the next level. The objective of the game is to eat all of the dots placed in the maze while avoiding four colored ghosts-Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange)-who pursue Pac-Man. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America. Pac-Man, originally called Puck Man in Japan, is a 1980 maze action video game developed and released by Namco for arcades. Players can unlock items for it by earning coins from the included games, which should provide some welcome replay value.Single-player, multiplayer (alternating turns) Pac-Man Museum Plus (the real title uses a plus symbol) features a customizable arcade. Games aren't the only draw of this collection. Pac-Man 256 is a great game although most Pac fans probably already own it separately. We know for sure that Pac-Man 256 supports 4-player local co-op, and my gut tells me that one of the Pac-Man Arrangement games has 2-player local co-op.
